Altınbeşik Mağarası Milli Parkı
Declared in 1994, Altınbeşik Cave National Park, with an area of approximately 1,147 hectares within the İbradı and Akseki districts of Antalya, is a hidden natural treasure of the Mediterranean Region. The park stretches from İnönü Tepe in the north to Kale Tepe in the south, rising along the valley from the point where the Manavgat Stream and the Narlıca Creek meet. The Altınbeşik Cave, which gives the park its name, is the region's most striking natural asset with the underground lake at its entrance. The park is home to a rich invertebrate fauna of butterflies, damselflies and various insect species; the diversity of plankton and benthic life around the lake at the cave entrance and along the Manavgat Stream is also notable. Cave tours, nature excursions, walking routes and scenic viewpoints are the park's standout activities. Located in Antalya's İbradı district, the site can be visited via roads passing between the deep valleys of the Manavgat Stream.
