Located on the seashore in the Silifke district of Mersin province, Atayurt Halk Plajı is a public swimming area 5000 meters long and 50 meters wide. The shore is sand and the seabed is sand. During the swimming season from 1 May to 30 October, it has a daily capacity of approximately 1500 people. Entry is free and the beach is open every day between 08:00 and 18:00. The area has 20 showers, 15 changing cabins and 10 washbasins. 4 snack bars/food and drink points serve visitors. There is a flag warning system. The beach has a car park and permits tent camping.
