Beşikdağı Tabiat Parkı
Declared a nature park in 2016 and covering 20.9 hectares, Beşikdağı Nature Park is located in the Beşikdüzü district of Trabzon, on the slopes just behind the Black Sea coast. It has a humid temperate terrestrial ecosystem in which beech, oak, alder, linden and chestnut forests intertwine; species such as hornbeam and hop-hornbeam also complete this rich cover. With its routes suitable for hiking and cycling, its scenic viewpoints and its zipline course, the park is a stop suited both to day-trippers and to families. Among the surrounding forests it is possible to spend time alone with nature. The park, about 45 km from Trabzon city center and 5 km from Beşikdüzü district center, is reached via the Black Sea coastal road (E-70). The cable car on the coastal road also offers an option for reaching the area.
