Çınarsuyu Tabiat Parkı
Located in Ordu's Ünye district on the Samsun-Ordu highway, the 8.61-hectare Çınarsuyu Nature Park, declared in 2011, is a lush green recreation area close to the seashore. Shaped by an afforestation program launched in the early 1980s, the site has a rich upper canopy in which different pine and cypress species such as maritime pine, Turkish red pine, coast redwood and Mediterranean cypress grow side by side. With 114 vertebrate species recorded in its surroundings, including 78 bird and 19 mammal species, the park offers a pleasant setting for hiking and photo safaris. Inside there are a fountain, a children's playground, wooden serender granaries and picnic tables; it also offers overnight stays with a tent camping area and country houses. The park is 10 km from the Ünye district center; Samsun Çarşamba Airport is 71 km away and Ordu-Giresun Airport 77 km.
