Located on the seashore in the İlkadım district of Samsun province, Fener Plajı is a public swimming area 500 meters long and 12 meters wide. The shore is sand and the seabed is sand. During the swimming season between June 15 and September 15, it has a daily capacity of approximately 350 people. The area has 4 showers, 16 changing cabins and 5 washbasins. There is a kiosk for food and drinks. 4 lifeguards are on duty, and first-aid supplies are available. The beach is wheelchair accessible and has a parking lot. Boat use is possible in the area.
