Fosil Ardıç Tabiat Anıtı
Rising within the boundaries of the town of Dineksaray in Konya's Çumra district, this mighty juniper tree was declared a natural monument in 1994. Estimated to be about 519 years old, the tree impresses all who see it with its height of 10 metres, trunk circumference of 4.5 metres, and diameter of 1.43 metres. Defying the centuries, this monumental tree has become identified with the town of Dineksaray and has turned into a symbol of the region's natural heritage. It is a quiet stopping point for nature observers and photography enthusiasts. It is located at the entrance to the town of Dineksaray on the Konya-Bozkır highway, only 50 metres from the main road, and is easily accessible.
