Located on the seashore in the Foça district of İzmir province, Karakum Halk Plajı is a public swimming area 2000 meters long and 30 meters wide. The shore is sandy and the water bed is sandy. During the swimming season from June 1 to September 30, it has a daily capacity of approximately 750 people. The area has 2 showers, 6 changing cabins and 4 washbasins. A kiosk is available for food and drink. First aid supplies are available, and there is a flag warning system. The beach has parking. Boat use is available in the area.
