Located on the seashore in the Akçakoca district of Düzce province, Martı Plajı is a public swimming area 1000 meters long and 15 meters wide. The shore is sand and the seabed is sand. During the swimming season from 15 June to 15 September, it has a daily capacity of approximately 1500 people. The area has 12 showers, 10 changing cabins and 12 washbasins. 3 kiosks/food and drink points serve visitors. 2 lifeguards are on duty and there is a flag warning system. The beach has parking, is pet-friendly and allows tent camping. Fishing is possible in the area. The beach is open every day between 10:00 and 19:00; entry is free. Nearest health facility: Akçakoca Devlet Hastahanesı.
