Located on the seaside in the Akçaabat district of Trabzon province, Mersin Plajı is a public swimming area 500 meters long and 50 meters wide. The shore is sand and the seabed is sand. During the swimming season from June 15 to September 15, it has a daily capacity of approximately 1000 people. The area has 4 showers, 28 changing cabins and 8 washbasins. There is a snack kiosk for food and drinks. 3 lifeguards are on duty, first aid supplies are available and there is a flag warning system. The beach has a car park.
