Örenönü Tabiat Parkı
Örenönü Nature Park is an 11.78-hectare protected area located about 5 km from Tunceli's central district, to the east of the district. The Pülümür Stream runs along its south and east, while the Erzincan-Tunceli highway stretches to its north. In the park, where streamside vegetation is prominent, there are old black poplar trees, willow, poplar, ash, and wild blackberry, along with numerous stream plants. The area is home to many mammal, reptile, and bird species. Suitable for hiking, nature tours, and day recreation, the park features a tent camping area, a children's playground, a kiosk, a restaurant, a parking lot, and toilets. The park is reached via the adjacent Erzincan-Tunceli highway, by turning south at the road junction 5 km east of Tunceli center.
