Tavşanburnu Tabiat Parkı
Stretching in Aydın's Didim district, right next to the ancient city, Tavşanburnu Nature Park is a 15.87-hectare coastal protected area. Alongside natural juniper trees, the stone pine, eucalyptus and Cyprus acacia introduced through afforestation efforts create a cool, shady environment over most of the area. Maquis species such as the Greek strawberry tree, wild olive, holm oak, rockrose and thyme spread across the whole site. With its shallow, clean and crystal-clear sea, Tavşanburnu offers areas suitable for camping and picnicking. The scenery formed at sunrise and sunset is the most impressive aspect of the park's high recreation potential.
