Ulukavak Tabiat Anıtı
Ulukavak Natural Monument, declared a natural monument in 1994, is a monumental white poplar tree with religious significance in its surroundings, located in Kamışcık village in the Çekerek district of Yozgat. Villagers believe there is a saint's grave beneath the tree; in this respect, the area combines nature and faith tourism. Bird species such as swift, kestrel, goldfinch, magpie, and sparrow can be seen around the tree. Picnic tables near the monument offer visitors the opportunity to rest in close touch with nature. The area, preferred especially for picnics in the spring and summer months, can be reached by road via the Çekerek district.
