Ulumeşe, declared a natural monument in 1995, is a monumental oak tree located in Kocapınar Parkı in the Ölüdeniz neighborhood of the Fethiye district of Muğla. Estimated to be about 350 years old, the tree casts its shade over its surroundings with its 20-meter height and impressive trunk diameter. Situated within the town, at the intersection of Ovacık and Kocapınar streets, the monument is a popular stop for both local people and visitors thanks to its easy access. Unfortunately, it lost its crown as a result of a lightning strike in 2021, yet it continues to stand with its historical and natural value. You can take public transport departing from the Köyler Garajı in the Fethiye district center to Atatürk Caddesi, then reach the monument with a short walk along Kocapınar Caddesi.
