Located on the sea coast in the Şile district of Istanbul province, Akçakese Akkaya Plajı is a public swimming area 850 meters long and 20 meters wide. The shore is sand and the seabed is sand. During the swimming season from June 15 to September 15, it has a daily capacity of approximately 2500 people. Entry is free; the beach is open every day between 08:00 and 19:00. The area has 7 showers, 5 changing cabins and 8 washbasins. 4 kiosks/food and drink points serve visitors. 8 lifeguards are on duty and first aid supplies are available. The beach has parking, is pet-friendly and allows tent camping. Boating is possible in the area. Nearest health facility: Sıle Devlet Hastanesi-14.5km.
