Ana Ardıç Tabiat Anıtı
Reached by traveling about 20 km north from the Çamlıyayla district of Mersin, at the foot of the Bolkar Mountains and north of the Kadıncık Valley, Ana Ardıç is a magnificent natural monument. This 1107-year-old juniper tree defies the centuries with its height of 22 meters and trunk diameter of 3.5 meters. So much so that even if ten people joined hands, they could not fully encircle its trunk. The spot where this centuries-old tree, which witnessed the Victory of Malazgirt, stands offers a unique viewpoint for watching the lush green and steep scenery of the Kadıncık Valley. With its historical and natural value, Ana Ardıç is a meaningful stop for lovers of hiking and nature tours.
