Çubucak Tabiat Parkı
Located in Muğla's Marmaris district at the 20th kilometer of the Marmaris-Datça highway, Çubucak Nature Park was declared a nature park in 2011 over an area of approximately 20.5 hectares. Lying within the Datça-Bozburun Special Environmental Protection Area, the park combines its position right on the sea with Turkish red pine forests and the serenity of the Mediterranean. Stretching among Turkish red pine, myrtle, laurel and oriental sweetgum trees, the park allows day-use and camping for around 2,000 people with a capacity of 400 tents and 35 caravans. Home to species such as squirrel, Eurasian jay and blackbird, the area has a rich natural texture with hundreds of plant and bird species. Visitors can swim from the wooden pier, stroll through nature on the walking paths, and enjoy day-use picnics and recreation with amenities such as a country restaurant, sports area, showers and parking. Thanks to the entrance gate on the highway, access by public transport on the Marmaris-Datça line is quite easy.
