Göldağı Tabiat Parkı
Located in the Çaycuma district of Zonguldak, the 13.47-hectare Göldağı Nature Park was arranged as a recreation area in 1993 and gained nature park status in 2011. It is surrounded by the villages of Kalafatlı, Sapça, Keller, Taşçılı and Güdüllü; with its small yet compact layout, it offers a quiet resting point in the middle of nature. Broad-leaved trees dominate the park's forests. Beech, hornbeam and oak species form the main elements of the tree cover, giving the area a rich texture with colors that change throughout the year. This green area, intertwined with wildlife, contains suitable spots for enjoying the scenery. The park is about 32 km from Zonguldak city center and 11.6 km from the Çaycuma district center, and can be reached via three different routes; the shortest route is about 6.5 km via Taşçılı village off the Zonguldak-Çaycuma road. It is an ideal day-trip route for nature walks, cycling and scenic viewing.
