Kadıpınarı Tabiat Parkı
Located in Yozgat's Akdağmadeni district, Kadıpınarı Nature Park is a 9-hectare protected area that takes its name from the village where it is located. It was declared a nature park in 2011 and is only 2.5 km from the Akdağmadeni district center. In the mixed forests formed by Scots pine, oak and, in places, black pine, species such as prickly juniper, maple, rowan and milkvetch are also found. Along with mammals such as wild boar, red squirrel, fox, brown bear, lynx and red deer, the area hosts a rich diversity of birds including the long-legged buzzard, kestrel, Eurasian jay and little owl; it is also notable for its tortoises, lizards and various snake species. Picnicking is possible in the day-use area; the walking routes allow cycling, photo safaris and hiking. There are 2 bungalows and a country restaurant within the park. The park is reached by road; it is 330 km from Ankara, 180 km from Kayseri and 127 km from Sivas, and the nearest airport is Kayseri Airport, 142 km away.
