Located on the seashore in the Büyükçekmece district of İstanbul province, Kumburgaz Plajı is a public swimming area 400 meters long and 20 meters wide. The shore is sand and the seabed is sand. During the swimming season from 15 June to 15 September, it has a daily capacity of approximately 500 people. The area has 4 showers, 4 changing cabins and 4 washbasins. 8 kiosks/food and drink points serve visitors. 21 lifeguards are on duty, and there is a flag warning system. The beach is pet-friendly. Boating is possible in the area. Nearest health facility: Kumburgaz Aile Sağlığı Merkezi.
