Located on the seashore in the 19 Mayıs district of Samsun province, Kumcağız Plajı is a public swimming area 1100 meters long and 25 meters wide. The shore is sand and the seabed is sand. During the swimming season from 15 June to 15 September, it has a daily capacity of approximately 150 people. Entry to the beach is free of charge; the area is open every day between 08:00 - 19:00. The area has 2 showers, 5 changing cabins and 5 washbasins. A kiosk is available for food and drink. 1 lifeguard is on duty. The beach allows tent camping. Nearest health facility: 19 Mayıs Aıle Saglıgı Merkezı
