Marmaracık Koyu Tabiat Parkı
The Marmaracık Koyu Nature Park, declared in 2011 in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul, takes its name from the cove to its west. Located within the Mavromoloz forests, the roughly 27-hectare park is also within the boundaries of the Feneryolu Wildlife Development Area. Coniferous tree species dominate the area; oak stands and patches of maquis accompany the forest. With its location on the seashore, the park is a spacious escape point for nature walks, nature tours and cycling. It offers environments suitable for scenic viewing areas, photo safari and bird watching; it provides visitors seeking day-use relaxation a calm atmosphere where green meets the sea. The park is reached, via the Sarıyer road, after arriving at Rumeli Kavağı, from the end of the road that follows the coast. Those wishing to come by public transport can reach the Kale Caddesi stop using the Hacıosman metro station or the buses on the Bahçeköy line, and from there reach the area by taxi. The park is open to visitors every day from 09:00 to 20:00. Admission is charged; pedestrian entry is 60 TL per day, car entry 180 TL, and an in-park accommodation unit 540 TL per day.
