Sıklık Tabiat Parkı
Located in the Merkez district of Çorum, the 272-hectare Sıklık Nature Park was declared a nature park in 2009 after being set aside as a recreation area in 1992. The area, entirely state forest, is surrounded by forest cover afforested with black pine in earlier years and the steppe vegetation of Central Anatolia. The park's most beloved feature is the fauna exhibition area within it. This section, where species such as roe deer, gazelle, deer, wild goat and wild sheep are displayed, especially attracts the interest of child visitors. Species such as hare, squirrel, fox, wild boar and chukar partridge also live in the surroundings. With walking routes, a scenic viewing tower and terrace, a wildlife observation tower, children's playgrounds, a country restaurant and picnic areas, the park is suitable both for day trips and nature observation. Located at the 7th kilometer of the Samsun-Çorum highway, the park is 59 km from Merzifon Airport.
