Tillo Tabiat Parkı
Declared a nature park in 2014, the roughly 40-hectare Tillo Nature Park, in the Tillo district of Siirt, offers visitors a nature experience of exceptional beauty from its position overlooking the valley. It is only 1.5 km from the Tillo district center and 9 km from central Siirt. The vegetation formed by oak species gives way in places to mountain steppes; 29 different plant taxa and 14 mammal species have been identified in the area. Thanks to its location and valley landscape, the park is suitable for hiking, cycling and picnicking, and lies in a region also known for the famous light phenomenon and faith tourism. The period from June to September is the most rewarding time to visit the park. Visitor facilities in the park include a car park, fountain, country restaurant, country café and a prayer room.
