Üçtepeler Tabiat Parkı
Üctepeler Nature Park, covering 163.88 hectares and declared in 2011, is a tranquil protected area in the Sorgun district of Yozgat, only 4 km from the district center. Taking its name from the locality where it is situated, the park is covered with mixed forests where Scots pine, Taurus cedar, oak, and in places black pine intermingle. A rich flora including species such as prickly juniper, maple, and rowan lends the area different colors throughout the year. The forest is home to mammals such as wild boar, red squirrel, fox, and hedgehog, as well as birds such as long-legged buzzard, kestrel, jay, and little owl. Tortoises, lizards, and various snake species further diversify the area's fauna. Suitable for nature walking, nature observation, and cycling, the park is easily accessible thanks to its proximity to the district. It is possible to travel to Sorgun by road and reach the park after a short drive.
