Altıkardeşler Tabiat Anıtı
Rising near the town of Kazancı in the Ermenek district of Karaman, the Altıkardeşler Natural Monument is a magnificent Greek juniper (Juniperus excelsa) tree that the local people call Altıkardeş. Notable for its height of 27 meters, trunk diameter of 3 meters, and a circumference reaching 7.5 meters at ground level, the tree, with its six-forked trunk, almost resembles a community of siblings. At an elevation of about 1750 meters, this monumental tree, which preserves its healthy and magnificent structure, blends with the surrounding forest and natural scenery. The monument, located at about the 8th kilometer of the road in the direction of Sarıvadi-Ardıçkaya Village, can be reached by hiking. With its quiet and untouched nature, Altıkardeşler offers a peaceful stop for hiking and nature tour enthusiasts.
