Beydağı Tabiat Parkı
Beydağı Nature Park is a protected area that was formerly a military zone, declared a nature park in 2014, with its boundaries expanded to 98.5 hectares in 2020. It lies about 4 km as the crow flies from the city center of Malatya, directly adjacent to the north of the city; the Beydağları rise to its south and east. Studies carried out in the park have recorded 38 different taxa of seed plants. The area is suitable for relaxing in the midst of nature, hiking, cycling and nature tours; with day-trip recreation, scout camps and walking routes it offers uses suitable for every age group. Programs and activities aimed at raising nature awareness are also among the park's goals. The park, adjacent to the center, is reached via İnderesi and Mehmetçik avenues to its north. Air access to the city is provided by Malatya Airport, about 30 km from the park.
