Doğanlı Çınarı Tabiat Anıtı
The Doğanlı Plane Tree Natural Monument is an old oriental plane tree located at the Meydan Tepe locality in Doğanlı village, in the Çelikhan district of Adıyaman. Estimated to be around 550 years old, the tree stands out with its thick, forked, spreading trunk and casts its shade over an area of about 1,000 square meters. With a trunk circumference reaching 12 meters and a height reaching 40 meters, the plane tree stands in mountainous terrain surrounded by degraded oak forests. With its sound structure and monumental dimensions, it is an important part of the region's natural heritage and a worthwhile stop for nature tours and photography. The tree, located on the Adıyaman-Çelikhan road, is reached at a distance of about 40 kilometers from the Adıyaman city center.
