Bulanık Ovası Sulak Alanı (Şorgöl Sazlığı)
Bulanık Ovası Wetland, located within the boundaries of Muş's Bulanık district, is a wetland of national importance with its extent of 3,496 hectares and was registered with this status in 2016. About 7 km from the Bulanık town center, the area hosts a rich presence of plants and animals. Species such as duckweed, suluçanak, gundelia and deli saz make up the area's vegetation, while the wetland is an important habitat for many bird and other animal species. In addition to birds such as the crane, European roller, white stork, northern lapwing and great bustard, various frog, turtle and snake species can be observed in this natural environment. The area, suitable for birdwatching and nature excursions, is reached via the Muş-Ağrı highway. Admission to the area is free, and it can be visited throughout the week between 08:00 and 17:00.
