Located on the lake shore in the Edremit district of Van province, Edremit Karayolları ve Kaymakamlık Plajı is a public swimming area 1000 meters long and 15 meters wide. The shore is sand and the bottom is sand. During the swimming season from June 15 to September 15, it has a daily capacity of approximately 300 people. Entry is free of charge and the area is open 24 hours. The area has 6 showers, 6 changing cabins and 2 washbasins. First aid supplies are available. The beach has parking and allows tent camping.
