Taşyaran Vadisi Tabiat Parkı
Stretching between Uşak city center and Eşme, within the boundaries of the villages of Ulucak and Hamamdere, Taşyaran Valley Nature Park is a 53.5-hectare protected area declared a nature park in 2016. Dominated by Turkish red pine and oak, the valley has rich vegetation with species such as thyme, wild pear, hawthorn, sumac and Spanish broom. The wildlife sharing the valley is just as diverse: alongside wild boar, chukar partridge, wild hare, fox, jackal and crested porcupine, birds of prey such as buzzards and sparrowhawks as well as colorful butterfly species can be observed. Day-use picnic areas, nature walking routes and scenic viewpoints offer visitors a day immersed in nature. The park is located at the 48th kilometer of the Uşak-İzmir highway from Uşak city center, at the site of the Historic Çatal Bridge. Leaving the highway, the area is reached via a 500-meter stabilized road from the entrance of the Çaykenarı neighborhood of Ulucak Village.
