Ulubey Kanyonu Tabiat Parkı
Declared in 2013 and covering 119.2 hectares, Ulubey Canyon Nature Park is an impressive protected area within the Ulubey district of Uşak, where canyon, forest, and river ecosystems come together. A rich flora formed by species such as Turkish red pine, oriental plane, kermes oak, tamarisk, and rowan intertwines with the deep canyon walls. The area is home to many bird species such as black stork, grey heron, buzzard, and turtle dove, as well as hares, porcupines, and various reptiles. There is a natural spring fountain along the stabilized vehicle road running along the canyon floor. Ideal for nature walking, photo safaris, and various sports activities, the park also offers easy access to the adjacent glass terrace and the Ulubey Municipality recreation area. You can reach the area, 36 km from Uşak city center and 6 km from the Ulubey district, via the Uşak-Ulubey-Karahallı road by your own means.
