Türbeçamı Tabiat Anıtı
Türbe Çamı, declared a natural monument in 2006, is located in Küçükhacıbey village in the Eldivan district of Çankırı and covers a small area of 298 square meters. Estimated to be between 400 and 500 years old, the tree stands out with its extremely broad-spreading branch structure and the spiral fusion of two branches emerging from a single trunk. The pine, approximately 13 meters tall, has a trunk circumference reaching 295 centimeters at ground level. The area surrounding the natural monument is covered with predominantly pine forests; alongside mountain poplar, fir, oak, hornbeam, and willow species, plants such as blackberry, ivy, and fern are also found. Mammals such as bear, roe deer, wolf, wild boar, and jackal live in the vicinity, along with bird species such as woodcock, falcon, owl, and wood pigeon. There are no facilities around the monument; using forest and village roads, botanical tours, nature and culture walks, photo safaris, scenic viewing, wildlife watching, and birdwatching can be enjoyed. The village is reached about 6.5 km after turning off at the 35th kilometer of the Çankırı-Ankara highway.
