Kenbağ Tabiat Parkı
Located just 7 km from the city center of Çankırı, the 36-hectare Kenbağ Nature Park was set aside as a recreation area in 2004 and, thanks to the resource values it carries, was converted into a nature park in 2011. It is planned that the urban forest immediately adjoining it will also be incorporated into the park's boundaries. Hosting the steppe-and-forest transitional vegetation of Central Anatolia, the park offers a calm nature getaway despite being so close to the city. Suitable for nature walks and tour routes, the area welcomes day visitors with the surrounding hills and viewpoints. The park is reached by an asphalt road about 1 km off the Çankırı-Kastamonu state road; the settlement of Yeniceköy is 1.5 km away. The nearest airport is Ankara Esenboğa, 130 km away by road.
