Located within the boundaries of Çankırı's Ilgaz district, north of the provincial center, the 422-hectare Kadınçayırı Nature Park stands out with its green spaces and rich fauna. Declared a nature park in 2012, the area lies at the Ilgaz Kadınçayırı locality and is situated within the Çankırı Ilgaz Kadınçayırı-Yıldıztepe Culture and Tourism Protection and Development Region. To the northwest of the park, about 10 km away, lies Ilgaz Dağı National Park, which is home to one of Turkey's important ski centers. This proximity makes Kadınçayırı a valuable nature spot for both winter and summer tourism. There is no settlement within the park's boundaries; it offers a quiet setting with an unspoiled natural structure. With walking routes, nature excursions, cycling and scenic viewing opportunities, it is suitable for day recreation. The park is reached from Çankırı and Kastamonu via the D765 Çankırı-Kastamonu State Highway. Ilgaz, the nearest district center, is 49.5 km from Çankırı; the park is accessed from the south via Ilgaz.
