Vezirsuyu Nature Park, registered in 2011, is located in the Vezirköprü district of Samsun, about 2 km from the Narlısaray neighborhood. It welcomes its visitors with an intriguing forest ecosystem where Turkish red pine, cedar, Greek strawberry tree, terebinth, strawberry tree, and olive coexist. The park is one of the rare areas in Turkey's inner Black Sea region where Mediterranean maquis vegetation is seen; this transitional composition makes it botanically rich. Within its ecological boundaries, a total of 103 vertebrate species have been recorded: 4 amphibians, 9 reptiles, 65 birds, 19 mammals, and 6 fish species. Suitable for nature walking, nature tours, cycling, and angling, the park offers a favorable setting for day recreation. It is 22 km from the Vezirköprü district and 131 km from Samsun city center, and the area is reached by an asphalt road.
