Aluçdağı Tabiat Parkı
Declared in 2011, Aluçdağı Nature Park is located in the Çamlıdere district of Ankara, among the black pine and Scots pine forests of the Inner Western Black Sea forest belt. With the ecosystem richness, biological diversity, and wildlife it harbors, it is one of the rarely protected natural areas. Forest clearings formed here and there by various trees and shrubs add movement to the scenery. The stream ecosystem extending along Sulu Dere, which passes along the east of the park, increases the diversity of the area with its willow and poplar thickets and its rocky and pebbly banks. Around the Aluçdağı Recreation Area there are routes suitable for hiking, cycling, and scenic viewing. The park, accessible from the district centers of Kızılcahamam and Çamlıdere, is reached by asphalt road via Çamlıdere Yaylası (Yayla Mahallesi). From major cities such as Ankara and Istanbul, connection is easily provided via the O4-E89 motorway or the D750 highway.
