Beşpınarlar Tabiat Parkı
Beşpınarlar Nature Park is a large protected area that was converted into a nature park in 2011 and lies within the Aladağlar range south of Bolu. This mountainous region, with Gölcük Nature Park located in its lower section, stands out with its forested slopes and mountain profile. Home to endemic plant taxa such as the Uludağ fir and balkaymak, the park is notable for its rich flora and fauna. A total of seven endemic plant taxa and 93 bird species have been identified in the area; it also shows diversity in frog species. Suitable for hiking, cycling and nature tours, the park also offers opportunities for outdoor activities such as tent camping and orienteering. The park, located at the Aladağlar site south of Bolu's central district, about 30 km from the center, is reached by following the signposts in the direction of the Bolu-Kıbrıscık road.
