Çatal Sedir Tabiat Anıtı
The Çatal Sedir Natural Monument is a monumental cedar tree located at the Kurudere locality of Asmabağ Village in the Altınyayla district of Burdur. Registered as a natural monument in 1994, the tree rises within a forest where black pine and cedar spread in mixed stands. This 250-year-old cedar reaches 34 meters in height and a circumference of about 4.50 meters. The surrounding forest is home to mammals such as wild boar, jackal, fox, hedgehog and marten, and to bird species such as chukar partridge, sparrowhawk, buzzard, kestrel and falcon. It is a tranquil stopping point for hiking and a quiet forest outing.
