Gölhisar Gölü
Located in the Gölhisar district of Burdur and registered in 2016, the 5,877-hectare Gölhisar Lake Wetland is a rich lake ecosystem notable for its biodiversity. In the area, where 96 endemic plant taxa have been identified in its surroundings, species such as oriental plane and black pine are found alongside scattered small trees and shrubs. The lake stands out for its peat-rich structure and serves as a vital stopover site for waterbirds during migration. In addition to 166 bird species, many mammal species such as jackal, wolf, fox, lynx, squirrel and wild boar live in this wetland; endangered species and species protected under international conventions also find shelter here. Within the wetland's boundaries there is a bird observation tower. Nature walks, trekking, orienteering, photo safari, birdwatching and cycling routes are the main open-air activities surrounding the park.
