Doğançay Şelalesi Tabiat Anıtı
Declared a natural monument in 2013, Doğançay Waterfall lies within the Geyve district of Sakarya, in the deep valley of the Doğançay Stream. The waterfall consists of five tiers and descends in stages: the first tier is about 30 meters high, while the second, larger waterfall lies 130-140 meters below it; between them are three more small waterfalls. Seen from the valley's vantage point, the waterfalls combine with the surrounding mountains and forest to form an impressive landscape. The forest cover, dominated by beech and hornbeam, is home to species such as roe deer, red deer, fox, and partridge. The area offers suitable spots for nature hikes and nature photography. The natural monument, 25 kilometers from the Sakarya city center, can be reached via the Doğançay turnoff on the D-650 Adapazarı-Bilecik highway.
