Geyikalanı Tabiat Anıtı
Located near Otluk Köyü in Eskişehir's Mihalıççık district, within the boundaries of the Çatacık Wildlife Development Area, Geyikalanı Natural Monument covers 10.5 hectares and is known in the region as the Abide Ormanı (Monument Forest). The area contains numerous Scots pine trees with similar characteristics, averaging around 300 years of age. This protected area, where the Scots pine forest forms pure stands, is quite rich in wildlife. Mammals such as wild boar, wolf, fox, pine and stone marten, badger, brown bear and wild hare live in the region, alongside the Aesculapian snake, the spotted turtle and various lizard species. It offers a tranquil forest setting for those wishing to observe nature. The site, about 84 km from Eskişehir city center, is reached by minibuses on the Eskişehir-Mihalıççık-Otluk Köyü route; the road from the village to the area is a forest road.
