Güzeldere Şelalesi Tabiat Parkı
Located in the Güzeldere Köyü locality of Düzce's Gölyaka district, the 22.76-hectare Güzeldere Waterfall Nature Park was first arranged as a recreation spot and then registered as a nature park in 2011. The waterfall that gives the park its name is a striking corner of nature hidden within the dark green of the deciduous forest. Hornbeam, oak, chestnut, and linden mix into the beech-dominated forest; in the humid surroundings of the waterfall, rhododendron, cherry laurel, and blackberry cover the understory. With its tent camping area, scout camp, and day-use recreation facilities, the park provides suitable infrastructure for hiking, photography trips, and family outings. Its proximity to major cities such as Istanbul and Ankara is one of the park's greatest strengths. From the Istanbul direction, take the TEM motorway to the Düzce toll gates; from the Ankara direction, use the Kaynaşlı exit to reach Gölyaka, and from there follow the signs to the park area.
