Aymaç Tabiat Parkı
Located at the Aymaç locality of the famous Kümbet Yaylası in the Dereli district of Giresun, Aymaç Nature Park is a 40.30-hectare protected area declared in 2017. Standing out with its outstanding visual landscape values, the site offers its visitors a peaceful nature experience with pristine and impressive mountain scenery. Adorned with rich vegetation in which oriental spruce and various fern species are widespread, the park is home to mammals such as bear, roe deer, wolf, fox and marten. Birds of prey such as golden eagle, buzzard, falcon, eagle owl and owl glide across the sky, while wild trout and black fish (karabalık) live in the streams. The park, where the International Kümbet Highland Festival is also held, is suitable for hiking, nature photography, highland visits and day recreation. It contains a prayer room, toilets, two parking lots and an entrance control point. The park, 65 km from the city center of Giresun, 25 km from the district of Dereli and only 5 km from Kümbet Yaylası, is reached by an asphalt road. The park is open to visitors every day between 08:00 and 19:00. There is an entrance fee; daily entry is 60 TL for pedestrians and 180 TL for cars.
