Köroğlu Tabiat Parkı
Declared a nature park in 2017, the 6.61-hectare Köroğlu Nature Park is located in the Köroğlu neighborhood of Giresun's Çamoluk district, at the Kale Sivrisi Tepe locality. The rock ecosystem stretching along the eastern side of the site draws attention with its unique appearance. Kalesivri Hill is the point in Çamoluk with the most commanding view over the Kelkit valley and the surrounding landscape. In the park, oak, juniper, acacia, maple and willow are found alongside hawthorn, cornelian cherry, rosehip and almond species. In the area, where wild boar, wild goat, fox, squirrel and hare form the main species, wolf, lynx and bear are also seen. Many bird species such as hawk, falcon, kestrel and chukar partridge enrich the site. In the park, which is suitable for resting within the integrity of the landscape, the wildlife education center is also used as an accommodation facility. It is 5 km from the Çamoluk district.
