Yenice Şelaleleri Tabiat Anıtı
Declared a natural monument in 2019, the 13-hectare Yenice Waterfalls lie within the boundaries of the villages of Yenice and Usluca in the Çamoluk district of Giresun. Owing to the rare formations created by natural events, it is an area of national importance in scientific and aesthetic terms. The natural monument hosts many plant species such as maple, Scots pine, willow, poplar, oak, rosehip, raspberry and sage. Brown bear, wolf, wild boar, frogs, tortoises, lizards and various bird species make up the area's wildlife. The site, 18 km from Çamoluk and 203 km from Giresun, lies alongside the Çamoluk-Şiran-Kelkit-Gümüşhane highway and is reached via an asphalt road. As there is no infrastructure in the area yet, visitors can enjoy the region in its natural state for recreational purposes.
