Koruluk Kermes Meşesi I Tabiat Anıtı
Located in Afyonkarahisar's Dazkırı district, at the Kürdezi locality attached to the village of Kızılören, the Koruluk Kermes Oak I Natural Monument is a kermes oak (Quercus coccifera) of monumental quality reaching a trunk diameter of approximately 80 cm. With its trunk girth far above the usual dimensions of its species, it is considered one of the thickest-trunked known kermes oaks in Türkiye and has been placed under protection as a natural monument for this feature. Around the oak there are young black pine saplings and other kermes oaks. A quiet observation point to visit during nature walks, this area is about 2 km from the center of Kızılören village.
