Musaözü Tabiat Parkı
Musaözü Nature Park in Eskişehir's Tepebaşı district, with its pond scenery where green and blue intertwine, is one of the city residents' favourite spots for resting and picnicking. Used for many years as a recreation area, the site was declared a nature park in 2011. A rich vegetation of oak, black pine, cedar and cypress trees, along with species such as juniper, blackberry and wild plum, surrounds the park. The reed beds on the western side of the dam lake create a lively ecosystem hosting wild boar, foxes, hares and various bird species. Along the pond shore, walking, cycling, rowing boats and angling offer pleasant options for day visitors. The park is approximately 21 km from Eskişehir city centre and 5 km from the Eskişehir-Kütahya highway (D230). Access is via an asphalt road; public transport is also possible with municipal buses serving the neighbourhoods.
