Süreyya Tabiat Parkı
Located in the central district of Manisa, Süreyya Nature Park is a small yet peaceful protected area of 4.85 hectares, registered in 2011. Surrounded by forest on three sides, the park is bordered to the northwest by the Manisa-İzmir highway. The riot of colors created by different tree species combines with the sunlight to lend the park a tranquil atmosphere. Alongside trees such as stone pine, Turkish red pine, black cypress, willow, plane and juniper, the area hosts species such as terebinth, blackberry, chaste tree, wild pear and Judas tree. The facilities needed for eating, drinking, resting and open-air activities are available. In addition to nature walks, scenic viewing and day-trip recreation, visitors can taste local delicacies. Site guiding as well as education and information opportunities are also offered. Located on the Manisa-İzmir State Road, the park is about 22 km from İzmir.
