Tekkedağı Tabiat Parkı
Declared a nature park in 2011, the 100-hectare Tekkedağı Nature Park lies in Ankara's Beypazarı district, cradled by the black pine forests that surround it. Bounded by the road leading to Tekke Yaylası, the hills of Tekkedağ and Dededağ, the Suluceviz Spring, and the Çamlı and Gökçepınar fountains, the park is a tranquil corner of nature adorned with rocky areas and meadows. Besides black pine, cedar, juniper, hawthorn and wild pear trees, along with shrubs such as rosehip, barberry and clematis, form a rich plant cover. For those wishing to be alone with nature, hiking, cycling tours and enjoying the scenery are the most prominent activities. The park, about 13 km from the Beypazarı district center, is reached via the Ankara-Beypazarı Highway by following Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard and then the Kuyumcutekke-Karaşar village road to the south of the area.
