Beykoz Göknarlık Tabiatı Koruma Alanı (Ziyarete Kapalı)
Beykoz Göknarlık Nature Conservation Area is a 46-hectare protected area declared in 1987. It is located in Istanbul's Beykoz district, at the Tokatköy Valide Suyu site, and holds critical botanical importance as the only natural fir stand in Istanbul and its surroundings. In addition to fir, the area contains species such as chestnut, linden, hornbeam, hazel and strawberry tree; hares, squirrels, moles, various reptiles and birds live here. This rare ecosystem, threatened by clearings, settlements, grazing and insect pests, is under strict protection. Important notice: The area is closed to visits. Due to its nature conservation area status, visits are not possible, and the current situation should be verified with the DKMP 1st Regional Directorate.
